The California Local Emergency Planning Committee - Region I (LEPC - Region I) is an association of members from the counties of San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, and Orange. The mission of the LEPC - Region I is to protect the people, property, and natural resources within its jurisdiction from the potential effects of emergencies involving hazardous materials.
